"And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit." Joel 2:28-29
What is Youth Ministry?
Youth Ministry is the resposibility of the Church, to make disciples out of her young people, to train and equip the youth of the Church to meet the flesh, the world and the devil head on through the power of the Holy Spirit and the full knowledge of the living God. Training young people to lead the cause of Christ, and apply Christianity to every area of life.
Youth Ministry should provide a variety of opportunities and experiences to draw teens into active, responsible participation in the life, mission, and work of the church. Teens are a fundamental part of the Body of Christ, and the church must enable them to reach their full God created potential and calling.
Youth Ministry must help youth share their gifts, grow in life skills, overcome prejudices, develop respect for authority, serve those in need, participate in Church activities and responsibilities, develop personal spirituality and a solid prayer life, apply Christian faith to daily life, integrate Christian values, and develop a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ through the sound knowledge of scripture.
Because they are young people, they also need to have some good clean fun with other youth within the fellowship of the Boby of Christ. Learning to respect others, follow rules and guidelines, and enjoy being young in a safe Christian atmosphere.
I've developed this Youth Ministry page to provide scripturally based teaching and discipleship, and maybe have a little fun! (This by no means is a subsitute for your home church Youth Ministry.)
Hell is Real
"For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries." (Hebrews 10:26-27)

So what do you do to save your spiritual life? Christian CPR, of course!

READING THE BIBLE J. C. Ryle
1. READ THE BIBLE WITH AN EARNEST DESIRE TO UNDERSTAND IT. Do not be content to just read the words of Scripture. Seek to grasp the message they contain.
2. READ THE SCRIPTURES WITH A SIMPLE, CHILDLIKE FAITH AND HUMILITY. Believe what God reveals. Reason must bow to God's revelation.
3. READ THE WORD WITH A SPIRIT OF OBEDIENCE AND SELF-APPLICATION. Apply what God says to yourself and obey His will in all things.
4. READ THE HOLY SCRIPTURES EVERY DAY. We quickly lose the nourishment and strength of yesterday's bread. We must feed our souls daily upon the manna God has given us.
5. READ THE WHOLE BIBLE AND READ IT IN AN ORDERLY WAY. "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable." I know of no better way to read the Bible than to start at the beginning and read straight through to the end, a portion every day, comparing Scripture with Scripture.
6. READ THE WORD OF GOD FAIRLY AND HONESTLY. As a general rule, any passage of Scripture means what it appears to mean. interpret every passage in this simple manner, in its context.
7. READ THE BIBLE WITH CHRIST CONSTANTLY IN VIEW. The whole Book is about Him. Look for Him on every page. He is there. If you fail to see Him there, you need to read that page again.
